Your images
CompressToKB compresses images inside your browser using the Canvas API and a Web Worker. The file you select is never uploaded to our servers, and we never see, store, or have access to it. Closing or refreshing the page discards the image completely.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people use the tool and whether it works well for them: page views, and anonymous events like “image selected” or “download clicked”. These events include the file format and size in kilobytes, never the image itself or its content. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors; see Google's privacy policy for how it handles that data.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the tool free. AdSense may set cookies and use device information to show relevant ads, and may use this data as described in Google's advertising policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Feedback
If you submit feedback through the site, we store what you write along with an anonymous session identifier, not your name or email unless you choose to include one in your message.
Accounts and storage
There are no user accounts. We do not store images, and we do not have a database of uploaded files, because nothing is ever uploaded.
